Community Forest Education

Welcome to the UAF Community Forest Education Program. This program is a partnership between the Office of Sustainability and School of Natural Resources and Extension. It focuses on the sustainable management of trees on campus and engaging the community in forestry education. Community Forest Education provides opportunities for individuals of all ages to enrich their lives and protect the forest. The CFEP is actually a number of programs within the university and our Fairbanks community. By working together and sharing ideas we can foster more involvement and bigger means to make a difference. There are a number of ways to get involved.... be on a committee, plant a tree, take a class or become of volunteer!
