The UAF School of Education offers post baccalaureate (post-bacc) certificates in four areas:
- Elementary education: graduate, full-time one year*
- Secondary education: undergraduate or graduate, full-time one year*
- K-12 Art education: undergraduate or graduate, full-time one year*
- Special education: graduate, full-time one – two years*
*Part-time options are possible
At the completion of one of the post-baccalaureate certificate programs you will be eligible to apply for a teaching certificate or add an additional endorsement to an existing teaching certificate.
Each program includes the option to earn a Master of Education degree by completing additional classes and requirements, such as a master’s project or comprehensive exam.
