Search for funding

Move the world forward, one project at a time.

Instrumentl is an automated, online grant assistant service now being offered free of charge to University of Alaska faculty, staff and students.

Instrumentl saves you time and broadens your funding sources by doing the matching for you. We use your profile and project information solely to match you with relevant grants.

Instrumentl currently supports fields that most closely relate to these UAF schools, departments, and centers:

  • School of Natural Resources and Extension
  • College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences
  • College of Natural Science and Mathematics (selected departments)
    • Atmospheric Sciences
    • Biology and Wildlife
    • Geosciences
    • Veterinary Medicine
    • Water and Environmental Research Center

How it works

You set up your projects. Instrumentl then matches your projects with relevant grants. All matched grants are active funding opportunities with upcoming deadlines. Instrumentl pulls from corporate, private, federal, and state funding sources so you don't have to search anywhere else. Use Instrumentl’s Grant Tracker to save your favorite grants, receive deadline reminders, track your progress, and store notes & documents.
