Construction Progress and Information

Construction will continue on the UAF Engineering Facility throughout the summer of 2015. By the end of the summer, the connecting lobby between Engineering, Bunnell, and Duckering will open as will new entrances to Schaible Auditorium. Tanana Loop remains closed for the summer of 2015 as will Schaible Auditorium.
September 15, 2014:
Construction continues on the UAF Engineering Facility with most efforts focused on getting the building enclosed, dry, and warm before November 2014. Work in the cornerstone plaza area will continue through the end of the year and students, staff, and faculty should continue to be aware of construction traffic in that area. Though full funding has yet to be received, UAF is pressing ahead with getting the building infrastructure and public spaces open by next summer. As funding becomes available assignable spaces in the facility will be completed and occupied with the hopes of having the entire building finished by late 2016.
