Managing your UA storage: prepare for upcoming changes

The University of Alaska is implementing storage limits for UA Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts. Since UA now pays for the storage it uses, predefined storage amounts have been established in order to responsibly manage these new costs.

UA President Pitney appoints Interim UAA Chancellor Siemers to permanent role

UA President Pat Pitney announced on Wednesday that she has appointed Interim UAA Chancellor Dr. Cheryl Siemers to serve in the position permanently, effective March 8. Chancellor Siemers has served as interim since May 2025.

Update on the UAF chancellor search - Next steps

The search for the next Chancellor of the University of Alaska Fairbanks is progressing as planned. The search committee will begin an initial review of applicant materials on March 19 and will move into the semifinalist evaluation phase.
