Earlier this week Governor Mike Dunleavy signed the FY24 State Operating and Capital
Budget. The budget passed by the Governor is welcome news for the University System.
A major outage is affecting all broadband services in about a half dozen communities
in Northern Alaska. Travelers to this area may be without internet, cell service,
and payment processing systems may be down.

University employees must disclose any work performed outside of their University
employment, including any self-employment, independent contracting, or consulting.
The Outdoor Studies Program at UAS helps students develop skills essential to success
as a leader in outdoor settings and better understand the human relationship to the
natural world.
