The Legislature approved the supplemental budget on May 18 and it includes the negotiated
FY23 3% salary increase for faculty and an additional 1% increase for staff, fire
fighters, and local 6070 bargaining unit members. These increases could not be applied
to base salaries until the Legislature granted the university the budgetary authority
to do so.
As summer draws near and we have extra daylight hours, this is a reminder that employees
are permitted, with supervisor approval, to work a flexible schedule.
The University of Alaska would like to remind employees that electronic Explanation
of Benefits (EOBs) are available for all our UA Choice Plan members.

Employees eligible for Annual Leave and Personal Holiday Leave were reminded again
of their leave balances by fiscal year end.
2023 staff performance reviews are due by June 30th. It is UA's goal that 100% of
staff members receive an annual performance review.
This message serves as official notification to all employees that the most up to
date Labor Law Posters can be found on the HR's Labor and Employee Relations website
under "Employee Posters and Notices".
The R14 2023 pay period submission dates are earlier to account for the 4th of July
holiday.
