Chief Audit Executive Nikki Pittman created a new Senior Institutional Compliance Liaison position within Audit and Consulting Services, which Mary Gower has accepted. She will support compliance within the university's operations in an increasingly complex higher education regulation environment.

UA Board of Regents to meet in Juneau Sept. 8-9

During this two-day meeting, the board will discuss preliminary FY24 budget proposals in line with university priorities, as well as approving final distribution of the FY23 budget as signed in June by the Governor.

Proposed System Office Mission Statement out for governance review

The System Office mission statement is to be added to Board of Regents policy along with the three existing university mission statements. A first reading will occur in November, with a vote for formal approval in February.
