On Jan. 31, UA Regent Chair Sheri Buretta announced that a motion will be taken up
at the February board meeting to appoint now-Interim UA President Pat Pitney as the
UA System's permanent president.
The University of Alaska Board of Regents will hold a one-hour virtual public testimony
session on Monday, Feb. 14 from 4-5 p.m. lead up to their full board meeting later
this month.
As Alaska gears up for another gubernatorial election this year, it remains important
for University of Alaska employees to be aware of our responsibilities under the Executive
Branch Ethics Act (EBEA).
