Dear UAF community,

Beginning at 5 p.m. today, March 26, 2020, all UAF buildings and facilities across the state will be closed to the general public until further notice. Employees and students will still be able to access UAF buildings using their university-issued key and PolarExpress card.

Departments that are still providing essential services to the public will need to make alternate arrangements to allow for business continuity. This may require moving to appointment-only transactions or putting signage on exterior doors with directions to call a specific phone number to obtain building access.

Please make sure to coordinate your departmental access plan with your building coordinator and update your voicemail and website.

Building closures include Wood Center. Food delivery will remain available to students still living on campus. Dine 49 closed at 1 p.m. today, after providing lunch service. Chartwells will begin providing meal delivery to students living on campus beginning at 5 p.m. today. Meals will be delivered to common areas in residence halls. Information on how to order, delivery locations and schedules, and payment methods can be found on the UA coronavirus website.

Thank you for your flexibility and commitment to UAF during this challenging time.
