Class standing/years in college:
A bit about me:
I am a very high-energy, positive individual who loves the outdoors. My favorite season is winter due to all the sports and activities it brings. I love being involved around campus at UAF and enjoy sharing my experience with prospective students.
Why did you choose to attend UAF?
I chose UAF because of its engineering program, and I am an individual who loves the winter and cold weather!
What do you like best about UAF?
My favorite thing about UAF is all the on-campus activities. It is easy to get involved in multiple organizations, clubs, programs and intramurals.
What do you like to do in your spare time? What extracurricular activities are you a part of?
Skiing, berry-picking, biking, hiking, showshoeing, intramural sports, AADE (American Association of Drilling Engineers), SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers), NSO (New Student Orientation), snowboarding, volunteering.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?
Be yourself and be involved.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
Through a career fair at UAF I was able to be a field engineer intern last summer!
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
I hope to have a job in the petroleum industry and travel with work in my early career. After traveling, I hope to end up in Alaska.
If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?
