Hi! My name is Amelia I am a second-year UAF student. I was born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska so coming to UAF was an easy choice. UAF has given me the opportunity to study civil engineering, which has been a goal of mine for a long time. Studying here has also given me the chance to study abroad in Glasgow, Scotland this year through the North-to-North student exchange program. 

I have come to love the community at UAF and the people in Fairbanks. When I am at UAF, you can find me hanging out in Arctic Java or on the trails behind campus. Feel free to ask me questions about transitioning into life at UAF or if you are interested in learning more about studying abroad!
