Taste of Fairbanks

Taste of Fairbanks offers the opportunity for UAF students and employees to connect with the local community. We invite local businesses and organizations to reserve a table and share what they do with campus! The idea for this event was born from looking for new ways to make the Fairbanks community stronger and helping new students make Fairbanks home as fast as possible! It's a great opportunity to get your name out there on the UAF campus and share your story!

There is no cost to table at the event! Student Activities will provide a table for your organization or business to use for the evening, you provide whatever you need to show off what you do! Food vendors are welcome to provide samples, we only ask that you have allergy information available. Giveaways, coupons, brochures, etc. are all welcome as well! We are anticipating several hundred attendees, including a large number of new students.

The event officially starts at 5 pm and closes at 7 pm. You are welcome to arrive to set up around 4 pm. Parking on campus is enforced until 5 pm, so please park in visitor spaces. You can unload/drop off items in front of Wood Center, then proceed to park. Visitor parking maps and information on metered parking can be found here.

Please read the Wood Center booth policies for expectations on behavior found here. Because the event will be outside, food will be permitted without a waiver. If you have any questions about the policies or expectations, please email us at uaf-sao@alaska.edu.
