Mandatory student training

To promote safety and well-being, the UAF requires the following training to be completed annually:

UA Safe - Title IX for students

This training educates students on prevention and safety strategies regarding sexual assaults on campus, as well as educating students on how to report concerns to the appropriate campus authorities.

Students required to take the training include:

  • all certificate and degree-seeking students, including students in Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or PhD programs. Both distance and on campus students are expected to complete this training,
  • national and international exchange students, and
  • all students living on campus.

The full training takes approximately 35-40 minutes to complete, and can be accessed through the student’s UAOnline account or through Blackboard. Click here for more information on this training.
