Information Desk
If it's information you need, lockers to store your belongings, or tickets to a concert on campus, the Wood Center front desk has it all! We have just about everything you need to survive. Come by and meet the friendly and experienced staff.
ATM
There is an automatic teller machines to meet your needs: Alaska Option.
Computer Graphic Service (banners, flyers, etc)
Wood Center offers a computer graphics service to meet your needs for flyers, tickets, and banners. Call 474-6028 or stop by the office Monday -Friday 8am - 5pm for further information.
Copy Machine
Located near the front desk.
Front Desk
Services include the sale of candy, snacks, gum, other sundries, newspapers, and tickets to various campus and community events. We also provide balloons and balloon bouquets - whether it is for decorating a booth or surprising someone who has done something special - we have them at the front desk! WE NOW ACCEPT BEAR BUCKS!
Lockers
Lockers are available in Wood Center. Rental rates vary depending on size. Lockers are limited to use by students, faculty and staff.
Lost and Found
Lost or found an item? Contact the front desk at 474-7034. Unclaimed items may be returned to the finder after 70 days. Items left in the Pub are also turned into the desk nightly. When items bear identification, attempts are made to notify the owner.
MAC BUS
Busses arrive and depart from the Wood Center. Monthly passes and bus schedules are available for sale at the Wood Center Information Desk. Just need a couple of bus tokens? Tokens are available at the token machine located across from the front desk. Beginning Sept. 2, 2008 all faculty, staff and students with a valid Polar Express card can ride the bus for FREE!
Movie Tickets
Wood Center now sells Regal Cinema Movie tickets. Available at the Front Desk! Click here for movie times.
Showers and Coin Laundry
Showers are available on the lower and upper level for use by members of the University community. Coin operated laundry is available on the upper level next to the restrooms. Upstair showers are only accessible with a current Polar Express Card
Television
A big screen TV is located in the lounge and has various cable channels available.
Tickets
Wood Center sells tickets for cultural and sporting events at the front desk. If you are interested in having tickets sold for your event, please contact the Associate Director of Operations or call 474-1936, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 3:30 PM.
Value Transfer Station
The Value Transfer station is located on the main level by the center stairs next to the ATM machine.
Spirit of Alaska Federal Credit Union
Located on the first floor of the Wood Center. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm.
