Outdoor Adventures

Guiding Management Minor

Outdoor Adventures has teamed up with the Tanana Valley Campus and developed an opportunity for students to formally develop their outdoor skills and guiding resume while working on a full degree or simply completing an associates degree.

The minor will compliment almost any bachelor's degree. Students studying in the science field can build skills to help them while doing field research and students studying humanities can develop additional skills to set them apart from other applicants. See details regarding the minor here.

Applied Business Certificate and Associates Programs

For an individual looking to validate an already present skill set or for the entrepreneur who is looking to start their own business or gain an administrator position in an already existing company, there are the Applied Business Certificate and Associates.  Both the one-year certificate program and the two-year associate of applied science degree supply students with training and skills they need for success.  These programs are also a great launching point for a bachelors degree at UAF.  Get a list of the required classes here.
