SpringFest Service

Friday, April 29th

This year the LIVE Program will host service opportunities both on and off campus.

On Campus:

"Help Make Campus Shine!"

Join us in a campus-wide clean-up.

Sign up for hour-long shift(s) between 10am-3pm.

If you want to go the extra mile, sign up to be a team leader and recruit 2-4 more volunteers to work with you!

Check in will be in the Wood Center all day Friday.

**Gloves, trash pickers, bags, snacks, and drinks provided.**

Off Campus:

"Turning Light Farm"

Sign up now and tell your friends!

Turning Light Farm is a 501-c3 nonprofit organization in Two Rivers, Alaska. In partnership with Heifer International, Turning Light Farm is a learning facility that cares for Icelandic sheep, yaks and poultry while minimizing our impact on the natural environment.

We will be building poultry housing, processing wool, and working with the animals at the farm. It is really important that the animals become accustomed to being around different people and larger groups so that they will be best suited to work with the community.

Shuttles will be leaving the Wood Center at 11am, 12:30pm, and 2pm. The last shuttle returning from Turning Light Farm will leave at 4:30pm. (It is a 25 minute drive.) Space is limited--we have room for 22 people per each shuttle.

**Lunch will be provided at the farm.**
