Once a month the Volunteer program takes UAF students out to various programs within the Fairbanks community that are in need of volunteers.

Literacy Council of Alaska
Saturday October 28, 2006
10 students from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks volunteered with the UAF LIVE Program at the Literacy Council of Alaska bookstore (Forget-Me-Not-Bookstore). The students helped clean and organize the bookstore. For more information on the Literacy Council of Alaska, click here.

13 students from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks volunteered with the UAF LIVE Program at the Fairbanks Rescue Mission. They helped clean and organize the kitchen facilities and served lunch to the clients who live at the shelter. For more information about the Fairbanks Rescue Mission, click here.
