What are you doing for Spring Break?
Arctic Village, Alaska is located 290 miles north of Fairbanks and within site of ANWR (Alaska National Wildlife Refuge)
March 7-14, 2010
The applications for the Alternative Break 2010 are now available.
This spring break the UAF LIVE program will be taking 12 students, 2 team leaders and 1 staff member to Arctic Village, Alaska.
We will travel to the small village of 150 people by bush plane and spend the week working with the local K-12 school focusing encouraging further education after high school.
We will also spend the week being immersed in various aspect of the local culture, traditions and service projects.
Applications can be picked up in the UAF LIVE Program office located in the Wood Center, found on our website (see link below), or emailed to you upon request.
Applications are due Monday February 1, 2010 @ 5PM
