Student Organization Description:
Capoeira CDO Alaska is Fairbanks only capoeira club. We study the music, art, and culture of this Brazilian art form. Capoeira combines martial arts, acrobatics, music, singing, and dance. Through the study of this discipline the practitioners learn about Brazilian culture and the Portuguese language. Learning this playful martial art can be best described as “fighting with a smile.” Beginners and all levels are welcome.
