Student Organization Description:
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Music is home to a highly active chapter of CMENC. As fellow teachers-in-training, we take part in community service projects, educational research, and fundraising to allow our members to attend conferences. Our membership grants us access to several online resources through MENC including articles for developing educators, unique lesson plans, the opportunity to discuss issues with mentors representing various disciplines and much more. Ultimately, through our service, scholarship and varied experiences, we seek to prepare ourselves for the professional world.
