Student Organization Description:
The UAF Pre-Law Society is dedicated to providing students with an opportunity to learn about the field of law and the various career prospects available. The society will seek to promote greater awareness and understanding of these opportunities within the field of law by providing support and resources about going into law and information about the pre-law curriculum. The club seeks to help prepare students for the LSAT exam by dong practice questions and practice exams. The UAF Pre-Law Society presents advice to it's members about law school applications and the process of applying. The club regularly brings local attorneys and others in professional legal fields to campus to speak about their careers, their path to success, and to answer questions about law school admissions. The Pre-Law Society will encourage members to actively participate in the community by getting involved in various social and educational issues.
