Student Organization name:

Student Veterans of UAF

Student Organization Description:
Student Veterans of UAF is the Alaska chapter of Student Veterans of America, a national organization of campus groups dedicated to improving the college experience of student veterans. This organization is here to serve our UAF military members, current or prior, and anyone with an interest in issues regarding the military experience on our campus. Our goal is to enhance that experience by creating and maintaining bonds among our military students - service members, veterans, and dependents - and forming an atmosphere of support, connections and cooperation. We want to be your campus resource for everything from educational and financial issues to connections with post and base activities. Membership is free and open to anyone. **Find more information regarding the club and how to become involved at the Veteran Resource Office, 111 Eielson Bldg**. You can also join us for our weekly Discussion Group in the VRC on Tuesday's at 1pm!
