UAF Beyond Coal
Student Organization Description:
UAF Beyond Coal is run by students on the UAF main campus. This student group is focused on spreading awareness to others on campus about the effects of mining and burning coal,and coal waste, especially as it relates to our coal-powered plant at UAF. By raising awareness of coal's harmful effects, we hope to diverge from burning coal and turn to alternative sources of energy that are more efficient and environmentally friendly.
