Student Organization Description:
CACC MISSION STATEMENT The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College Culinary Club (UAF/CTC Culinary Arts Campus Club) is a campus-wide organization open to all students and faculty of UAF and CTC. Our mission is to provide opportunities that further the culinary education and experience of UAF students, prepare students for employment within the diverse Culinary Arts field, and promote awareness of the UAF/CTC Culinary Arts program within the Fairbanks Community. The Club hosts and assists in food production for both public and private events, affording aspiring culinarians the opportunity to acquire hands on experience in a professional and educational environment. The club works with the American Culinary Federation’s Fairbanks Chapter, the Midnight Sun Chefs Association, allowing student chefs to network with local culinary professionals.
