Student Organization Description:
The objectives of the Alaska Chapter are modeled after those of the parent organization, the American Fisheries Society. Our objectives are to promote scientific research and enlightened management of aquatic resources of Alaska for optimum use and enjoyment by the public and to encourage comprehensive and continuing education for fisheries scientists.
