Leadership Development

Leadership Workshops

Each week, the LIVE office holds a Leadership Workshop. Topics focus on leadership development,
specifically in regards to student organization officers. á

All workshops are held in Wood Center Conference Rooms E/F at 7pm.

Space is limited, open to any UAF students, and registration is required so we can make sure we have enough materials available.

4/2 Completing Your COLD Certificate
Need to finish your COLD Certificate?
Come to this workshop for a work party to finish up your certification surrounded by others doing the same. LIVE staff will be able to answer questions and help you wrap up before the semester comes to an end.

4/7 It Pays to Volunteer
Volunteer experience is an essential part of a resume and it helps a community!
Come to the Leadership Workshop to learn about the importance of volunteering and opportunities available for volunteering at UAF!

4/15 Officer Transition
The end of the semester is here and now is when your student org is at a critical point. Come to this workshop to learn how to handle leadership transition and how to execute it smoothly and effectively.

We offer a number of opportunities for emerging to experienced leaders to expand their leadership toolboxes; join us for our annual UAF Leadership Conference or participate in one of our monthly leadership development activities where you will have the opportunity to interact with campus and community leaders and reflect on your own leadership experiences.
