Leadership Lunch
Leadership Lunch
Leadership Lunches are a chance for students to get a free lunch and meet with campus, community, state, national and global leaders! We invite an array of leaders to share their experience, stories, tips and views on leadership with UAF students in an informal setting while we all enjoy a bite to eat. All students are welcome!
Jan 24.th Jodi Rodwell
Jodi Rodwell first came to Denali in 1995 to work for one summer. Seventeen years later, she wonders how long that one summer will last... Jodi studied geology at Montana State University and started her career with Denali Education Center by presenting "It's Not My Fault: the Geology of Southcentral Alaska" to Elderhostel participants. Since that time, she has seen the organization grow from a small one-program operation to one that provides camps for local children, park experiences for "at-risk" youth, education programs for Denali visitors and a venue for the local community to gather and share. She loves living in this wonderful community with her husband (and soon-to-be expanding family!). In winter, they enjoy skiing on the dog mushing trails and playing pick-up hockey on a local pond. And, after all these years, she is still excited to be living on the Denali Fault System!
