Emerging Leaders Retreat

February 15-17th in Wasilla, AK at the Little Beaver Retreat Center

Be a leader on your campus and in your community! Attend the Emerging Leaders Retreat!

The Emerging Leaders Retreat is an annual leadership experience designed for first-year students, transfer students or those who have limited leadership experience and are interested in developing their leadership knowledge and skills. The three-day, overnight retreat, which is delivered off campus, provides a rich learning experience regardless of whether or not you hold a formal leadership
position.

As a result of participating in the Emerging Leaders Retreat, students will:

Build an awareness of diverse perspectives of leadership
Develop connections to the campus community
Explore leadership through experiential learning and reflection
And, be prepared to have an amazing weekend!

The retreat is a great opportunity to develop connections with your peers and learn a lot about yourself. It includes a variety of team building activities, interactive games, and small group discussion.

If you're interested, you can download an application here, stop by the LIVE office to pick up an application or e-mail clhollingsworth@alaska.edu to have one sent to you.  Applications are due February 4th.

We offer a number of opportunities for emerging to experienced leaders to expand their leadership toolboxes; join us for our annual UAF Leadership Conference or participate in one of our monthly leadership development activities where you will have the opportunity to interact with campus and community leaders and reflect on your own leadership experiences.
