A hub for student activities, the William Ransom Wood Center has areas for dining, social activities and live entertainment. The center features a ballroom and adjoining conference rooms; the Wood Center Games area with pool and ping pong tables, video games and a bowling alley; and the multilevel lounge. Dining options include the Pub, Polar Perk Espresso and Bakery, Pizza Piazza and Sub Arctic Subs; and the Wood Center Food Court with Samurai Sam’s, Taco Bell Express, Grill 155 and Southern Tsunami. Wood Center also has offices for several UAF departments and student organizations. The Outdoor Adventures program offers trips and recreational equipment rentals as steppingstones to off-campus Alaska adventures.
