The Student Recreation Center offers students an on-campus workout option. On the first floor, three multiple-use courts provide space for badminton, tennis, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee and indoor soccer. A climbing wall, weight area and locker rooms are also on the first floor. On the second floor, a yoga/dance/aerobics area, exercise machines and more weight machines overlook the ball courts, and a running track encircles the building.

The Patty Center houses a 2,700-seat gymnasium, a 25-yard swimming pool, courts for handball and racquetball, weight rooms, the E.F. Horton rifle range, classrooms and locker rooms with saunas. The NCAA National Champion Nanook rifle team trains and hosts meets here. The Nanook men’s and women’s basketball and women’s volleyball home games take place in the gym. The Nanook women’s swim team trains and hosts meets in the Patty pool. The Nanook hockey team uses the adjacent Patty Center Ice Area for practice.
