About this location

In 1955, Alaska's leaders gathered on campus to craft the Alaska Constitution in what's now Constitution Hall. This historic event led to Alaska’s admission into the union as the 49th state in 1959.  Today, the building is home to the Alumni Association, UAF Bookstore, barbershop, post office and KSUA-FM, the student-managed radio station.
