UWA Undergraduate Scholarships for Academic Year 2008-9

The University Women's Association (UWA) provides scholarships for undergraduate women at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Applications for the Fall 2008 semester will be accepted through March 2008. Typically, the UWA awards $500-$1500 scholarships to women based on academic excellence and financial need. These scholarships have at times made the difference between a woman graduating or not. Applications for Fall 2008 scholarships should be submitted by Monday, March 31, 2008. We expect to decide on scholarship recipients by the middle of May 2008.
