“We've selected Saturday evening, December 20th as the date for the Mexican
dinner. We live at 2757 College Road at the Wagon Wheel, next to Labrenz
Landscaping. It's just one mile toward town from the University.
Additional parking is available at the corner of College Road and Caribou
Way. After 50 years in the same location, Dick and I now have a rather
large home, and we can accommodate 50 or more guests.

matter what the weather

A NEW YEAR'S EVE POTLUCK to watch the wonderful fireworks has become a
tradition. We are planning to have our UWA potluck with a similar schedule
to last year. In the spirit of the original potluck, we are hoping for an
international flavor. Please bring enough to serve 6 to 8 people, and
provide the recipe if possible. Coffee and tea will be provided. Food will
be served after 6:45. The fireworks should start at 8:00 p.m. We will
request donations to cover costs.

Parking is behind the IARC on the West Ridge of campus. The door
opener will be available for only thirty minutes, so please be punctual, and
arrive between 6:00 and 6:30.
Cynthia Dorman and Helen Howard are co-chairing the event, but we
need a door-opener from 6:00 to 6:30 and we need
someone to bring a cell-phone for late-comers. If you can help, suggest
a door opener teenager ($10 being offered), want to provide decorations
or help set up, or if you have any questions please e-mail or call Cynthia
