____________________________________________________________________ Recycle Sale--Saturday, April 13. The recycle sale is on. Registration
sheets, instructions and tags needed for items in the recycle sale can be
obtained at the Wood Center Information Desk, the GI Mather Library (first
floor of the IARC building), Old University Park Building, Room 109 and the
Downtown Center-2nd floor reception Desk. Note that items must be checked
in between 7:30AM-10AM on the 13th of April at the UAF Wood Center
Ballroom. The sale runs from noon to 2:30PM. We need volunteers for set up,
11:30-2:30 (the sale) or 2:30-5:30 (clean up and accounting). This event is
a public service and brings attention to the UWA which we hope to use to
enlist new members. Beth Olson has volunteered to serve as Spring Recycle
Chair. Call her to offer your help at 452-0589.
KUAC Thank You: Thank you to Carol Woodall, Heidi Supkis, Barbara and
Alan Braley, Wendy Rousalis and her friend Mary for helping to answer
phones for the KUAC pledge drive.
Salad Lunches: Thanks to Myllie Thomas for the March luncheon.
The April Salad luncheon will be Wednesday, April 24th at Judy Williams'
home, 3868 Chigmit Drive. She will be away from April 4-April 19. Please
RSVP at 479-5465. If you reach the answering machine, please indicate if
you need directions. Judy will get back to you when she returns. Sherry
Hansen will host in May.
International Diners: Thank you to Dave and Carol Woodall for hosting in
March. April dinner is currently without a hostess. May will be Nancy Klammer.
We
have lost the list for the remaining months, if you have volunteered for
any of the remaining months please let our social VP Nancy Klammer know.
Annual Membership Meeting: The Annual Membership Meeting at which we
allocate our funds for the year will be held Sunday, May 5, 2002, from
2-4pm on the 5th floor of IARC. A short program on creating your own
watercolor greeting cards is being planned and finger foods will be served.

known as WICCA) needs donations of towels, blankets, pillows and sheets.
