Faculty
URSA encourages UAF faculty members to become mentors by involving undergraduate researchers in their research and creative scholarship projects. To facilitate these relationships, URSA offers mentoring workshops.
URSA has funds to support faculty members and post doctoral students participating in or preparing for mentoring undergraduate students in research or creative projects. Each September, URSA releases a request for proposals for faculty and post doc projects and/or travel. Congratulations to faculty members whose projects have been funded by URSA for the 2013 academic year: Jeff Benowitz, Gary Laursen, Andres Lopez and Elena Vayndorf.
