The Alaska Society for Technology in Education is hosting a trade show and conference on global community and technology implementation in the classroom April 5-7 at the William A. Egan Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage. The keynote speaker for the conference is Bellevue, Wash. teacher and Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award-recipient Chris Held. His presentation "This We Know: All Things are Connected," will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday April 5 at the Egan Center and is free and open to the public.

Hands-on workshops throughout the conference include topics such as web publishing for the classroom and multimedia for primary classrooms.
