SUBJECT:           COMPUTER ACCESS MAKES UAF COURSE SELECTION AND REGISTRATION EASIER

The University of Alaska Fairbanks fall course schedule is now on the World Wide Web at: http://www.uaf.edu/reg/schedule/index.html

The new online schedule is searchable by subject, day, time and instructor with updated information provided regularly about closed classes, new classes and other changes.

Returning students can register by phone Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. using the telephone registration guide posted on the web site. After April 17, new and readmitted degree students can register by touchtone phone, on April 21 continuing non-degree students can register, and after June 2, new non-degree students can register. Phone-in registration ends September 12. Instructions are available online or in the hard copy edition of UAF's Fall Class Schedule.

In person registration will be held May 19 through the 30th 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. every work day at the UAF Registrar's Office. Phone registration will be closed during that time.

Both electronic and printed class schedules explain how to use UAF's phone registration system to select classes, change courses or access advising services on a continuous basis throughout the summer to any student.
