SUBJECT:           UNIVERSITY HOLIDAY CLOSURE

LOCATION:         UAF Fairbanks Campus and TVC Downtown Center

DETAILS:    

Happy Holidays from the University of Alaska Fairbanks! UAF offices will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 24 and reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, January 3. The TVC Downtown Center and Hutchison Career Center will be closed December 23 to January 5; TVC and Hutchison will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, January 6.

Previous winter closures have saved UAF more than a quarter of a million dollars through reduced staffing levels, lowered building temperatures, and conservative use of lights, computers and laser printers. Snow removal, custodial services and maintenance will be at reduced, holiday levels.
