You don't even have to leave your seat — let alone find a parking space — to find out what's happening at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. A new comprehensive web calendar lets you browse everything from science lectures to the latest theater performances and UAF athletic events.

It's one-stop shopping for web users worldwide and includes the arts, academic dates, campus attractions and more. Nearly 30 departments are keeping the on-line calendar updated and many events are already listed for the Spring 2001 semester. It's easy to find and navigate at: http://www.uaf.edu/events.

As for parking, the Express buses are running Monday — Friday during peak times making it easier than ever to visit UAF. Buses run every five to seven minutes from outlying parking lots with stops at key buildings throughout campus. There is also an on-call shuttle available until 10:30 p.m. weeknights for "off-campus" campus buildings.
