SUMMER HONORS LIST 2000

November 9, 2000

Fairbanks, Alaska — The students on the attached list have been named to the dean's or chancellor's list at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in recognition of outstanding academic achievements during the summer 2000 semester.

Honors students receiving all A's or a 4.0 grade point average are placed on the chancellor's list, while those receiving an A- average of between 3.5 and 3.99 grade point average are named to the dean's list.

UAF is a Land, Sea and Space Grant institution with an enrollment of more than 8,000 students. Located 160 miles south of the Arctic Circle, UAF is the only doctoral degree granting institution in the state. Since it was founded in 1917, UAF has been internationally recognized for research relating to the Arctic and sub-arctic, in areas such as biology, geophysics, engineering, natural resources and global climate change.
