With minutes of sunlight creeping back onto the clock every day, summertime isn't that far away— which means now is the time to start applying for summer employment. Fairbanksans can get a jump start on summer and full-time jobs at the Visitor Industry Job Fair 2000 held Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in the UAF Wood Center.

More than 30 organizations and companies in Alaska's visitor industry will be on hand to accept resumes and schedule interviews during the two-day event, which is sponsored by the Alaska Visitors Association and UAF's Department of Career Services.

Last year, more than 800 job-seekers attended the annual fair, many securing seasonal and career positions. A complete list and information on companies interviewing during this fair is available at www.uaf.edu/career or by calling career services at (907) 474-7596.
