Photo Gallery: UAF History

The men's basketball team began sporting new varsity uniforms in 1954, which according to the student newspaper the Polar Star, were "really flashy and will remind fans of the famed Harlem Globetrotters dress or some similar high-powered outfit." Here the team plays in the university gym, now Signers' Hall, during the 1957 season.
