To change your Desktop picture in Windows XP:
- Select an image closest to the resolution of your monitor.
See your screen resolution - Right-click the image and choose "Save image as..."
- From your Start menu, choose Settings/Control Panel.
- Double-click on Display within the control panel and select the Desktop tab.
- Browse to the image you saved, select it and click "Apply."
Instructions for setting an image as a screen saver in Windows XP:
- Select an image closest to the resolution of your monitor.
See your screen resolution - Right-click the image and choose "Save image as..."
- Save the image to the "My Pictures" folder inside the "My Documents" folder
- From your Start menu, choose Settings/Control Panel.
- Double-click on Display within the control panel and select the Screen Saver tab.
- From the pulldown menu choose "My Pictures Slideshow" and click "Apply."
To change your Desktop picture in Mac OS X:
- Select an image link closest to the resolution of your monitor.
See your screen resolution - Control-click the image and select "Save image to..."
- Control-click the Desktop and select Change Desktop Background.
- Select the Desktop tab, browse to the image you saved and select it.
Instructions for setting an image as a screen saver in Mac OS X:
- Create a folder on your computer for your screen saver images.
- Select a desktop image closest to the resolution of your monitor.
See your screen resolution - Control-click the image and select "Save image to..."
- Control-click the Desktop and select Change Desktop Background.
- Select the Screen Saver tab, browse to the folder you created and select the image
