Robert Strick, a freshman from McGrath, reads a measurement during science lab while attending the orientation session of the Hutlee'/Umyuarchdelee Project, managed through UAF's Interior-Aleutians and Bristol Bay Campuses and funded by the National Science Foundation. Students from rural villages attended a week of orientation activities on the Fairbanks campus in the program designed to help rural Alaskan students pass college science and math classes.
