DETAILS: It's spring and UAF is opening the doors to the Natural
Sciences Facility again for the fun family science adventure -
Science Potpourri.
This is a chance for the public to visit the chemistry, physics,
geology and biology labs at UAF for demonstrations and exhibits
suitable for all ages. Come pet a lizard and watch a show in the
Science Theater, or try out some of the many fun science experiments
being offered throughout the day. Hands-on opportunities for children
as young as five will be available. You can even learn how to
do fascinating and fun science projects at home.
Science Potpourri will be held on Saturday, April 5th. It begins
at noon and goes until 5 p.m. The Natural Sciences Facility is
located on Yukon Drive on the UAF campus, between the upper residence
halls and the UA Museum of the North. The lizards are waiting for you to visit!
