SUBJECT: Sexual Respect Week at UAF

LOCATION: UAF Main Campus
Sexual Respect 96 is Feb. 11 -18 on the UAF main campus. This annual, campus-wide event has been held at UAF since 1991 to provide faculty, staff and students information about sexual assault prevention, preventing sexual harassment and preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation.
Education is also provided about forming and maintaining positive relationships. At least 20 programs addressing sexual respect issues have been scheduled in residence halls in addition to daily programs scheduled at UAFís Wood Center.
Sexual Respect Week information is provided in unique ways, including question and answer sessions, film presentations, panel discussions and special workshops, to name a few.
Sexual Respect Week sponsors include AWARE, Wood Center Student Activities and UAF Residence Life.
