University of Alaska Fairbanks Chancellor Marshall Lind and employees of the Rasmuson Library will honor UAF faculty and staff authors Friday, April 19, 2002, from 4 - 5 p.m. The reception will take place in the newly remodeled sixth floor of the library.

"It is with great pride that we honor our UAF authors," said Rasmuson Library Director Paul McCarthy. "It’s a terrific way to acknowledge the wide array of published contributions made by our staff and faculty."

Authors published between March 1, 2001 and March 1, 2002 will be recognized. The books will be exhibited in a display case at the west entrance of the library, on a rotational basis, throughout the year.
