SUBJECT: ALASKA TEACHER PLACEMENT JOB FAIR
LOCATION: University of Alaska Fairbanks campus
DETAILS: More than 25 Alaska school districts ranging from the Aleutian Islands to the North Slope are planning to participate in the Alaska Educators Summer Job Fair June 26-28 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Sponsored by UAF's Alaska Teacher Placement office, the annual fair brings together educators looking for professional opportunities and school administrators looking for teachers.
Certified teachers, administrators and educators are in high demand from the districts, some of whom have as many as 20 positions open for the upcoming academic year.
District representatives will be interviewing candidates for current and anticipated openings for the upcoming school year and providing information about their districts. The fair offers educators an avenue to employment and an opportunity to learn more about the state's unique education system.
