About the Rural Affairs Committee
The Rural Affairs Committee is one of five permanent committees established by UAF Staff
Council Bylaws.
The Rural Affairs Committee serves to:
- Oversee the general welfare of the UAF community not residing on the Fairbanks campus and;
- Monitor all activities affecting compliance with the Rural College mission statement of the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
The current members of the committee are Roberta Norton, Ashley Munro, Jennifer Elhard, Kayt Sunwood, Anne Sakumoto, Susie Baird, Jennifer Stutesman, Marianne Freelong, Travis Brinzow, Bryan Uher, and Chris Van Dyck.
